"Leading a diverse team in a high-performance environment
requires that you know yourself and how you operate, recognize how others
operate and adapt your operating style to be most effective with others.
Sterling Results' coaching helped us understand ourselves, each other, and
our team as a whole. We are now much better established to operate
successfully. Furthermore, we are now armed with the awareness and
tools to understand and modify when something doesn't go well"

"In a business
that attracts very driven, high performing people with strong technical
backgrounds, leading can be very complex -- especially in our situation which involves over 20
firms. The work Sterling Results did with us has helped us better
understand each other, effectively anticipate areas of disagreement or
friction, and implement engagement strategies to diffuse potential problems
up front.

“The Sterling
Results team
building process and tools have helped us make better decisions because we
have a framework for understanding how our work styles and personalities
affect them. They also worked well to help us integrate a number of new
members into the team. And they have helped us understand and serve our
client better.”

TEAM COACHING
è Looking to turn your teams into high-performance
vehicles?
è How much would results be propelled if each team
functioned as the ultimate fine-tuned high performance vehicle? If
all pistons fired flawlessly and in concert? If it locked onto its
destination using advanced GPS?
Sterling Results' team development coaching applies
proven, cost-effective practices to supercharge teams and propel them into
their high-performance zone.
Objectives
Recognizing that a team is a unit that is more than the sum of its
parts, the Sterling Results coach holds the team itself as the client.
Applying Sterling Results' dynamic team coaching practices, the coach
helps the team move into high-performance mode by optimizing the
Team
Operating System -- the processes that make the team tick as a unit. The
coach works collaboratively with the team members to identify specific
functional issues that are hampering results -- such as lack of trust,
conflict aversion, lack of commitment, accountability avoidance, and
inattention to results -- and then to develop a team
agenda to address them.
Benefits
During this collaborative team development process, team members
discover effective ways to work ON the team itself, rather than
just in it as individual contributors. This results in maximized
synergy, collaboration, effective conflict resolution, problem-solving
and empowerment through participation in the team's leadership pool --
all of which propel the team's results.
Duration & Format
To build team effectiveness, the Sterling Results approach starts with
an assessment process. It then incorporates initial face-to-face work with the whole team, followed by or
interspersed with team teleconferences.
To focus
on the distinct issues of any individual, one-on-one
spot-coaching sessions can be held in parallel with group coaching as needed.
Arrangements can be adapted to the specific needs of the group.
Team coaching can be
linked with appropriate training. [See:
