"A number of our folks in our regional group
provided high value and potential but had work approach issues that blocked
them from reaching their full potential. We also had some
interpersonal conflicts that hurt our team's performance. We
asked Sterling Results to come in and work with these folks, and have been highly pleased with the
outcomes. I can give you specific example after example of how this
made a big difference in the individual's attitude and skill in working with
other people."

GROUP COACHING
è
Looking to propel the results of several
individuals and maximize cost-effectiveness?
A Sterling
Results coach can work with them as a cohort group based on their
commonalities (needs, goals, role, etc.).
Objectives
Sterling Results' progressive, dynamic group coaching practices assist group
participants to propel their results and satisfaction,
based on the proven “coach approach” and the Sterling Results model:
The
Seven Key Strategies
for Savvy Technical
Professionals.
The coach
works collaboratively with the individuals of the group to identify
their common issues, then to develop a group agenda to address the
issues or goals that they share.
Benefits
Group coaching harnesses the power of the group process without sacrificing the benefits of one-on-one attention. This
approach can achieve the same impact as one-on-one coaching with significantly
lower investment per individual.
Duration & Format
Sterling Results'
group coaching usually consists of a series of sessions held by teleconference. During these sessions, typically 60 minutes long and
held weekly or bi-weekly, the coach and participants address the issues and needs that the
participants have in common.
To focus
on the distinct issues of any individual, one-on-one
spot-coaching sessions can be held in parallel with group coaching as needed,
typically in 5-10 minute phone meetings.
Arrangements can be adapted to the specific needs of the group.
For example, on-site work can be included, and group coaching can be
linked with appropriate training. [See
